Built in the 16th century by Francesco Sforza, Duke of Milan, it is one of the largest castles in Europe. This former parade ground, known as Piazza d’Armi, houses the Torre del Filarete, the inner facade by Beltrami and the “Ponticella di Ludovico il Moro” connecting the apartments to the walls.
