Castel Sant’Angelo

Also known as the Mausoleum of Hadrian, the castle underwent many profound changes in the mediaeval and Renaissance periods. Some of the works on display include “San Girolamo penitente” by Lorenzo Lotto and “Cristo benedicente and Sant’ Onofrio” by Carlo Crivelli.
