National Archaeological Museum

Regarded as the most important museum of the Roman era, it is made up of three main sections: the Farnese Collection, with finds from Rome and nearby, the Pompeii collections, with many finds from the Vesuvian cities, and the Egyptian Collection, the world’s third largest after Cairo and Turin.
