This complex of museums (Palazzo dei Conservatori, Palazzo Caffarelli-Clementino, Palazzo Nuovo and Galleria Lapidaria) houses a vast collection of sculptures, statues, busts, archaeological finds and frescoes. One of the most famous artworks is the equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius.
