The Museum is dedicated to marine fauna and flora and houses 900 exhibits, such as the “Collection of Ecological Malacology”, which includes specimens of shells collected on the beaches of Apulia. The Algario comprises 700 specimens of 219 different species of algae from the Adriatic and Ionian seas.
