This building was the home of the Doges of the former Republic of Genoa. Many works of art are on display: in particular, the magnificent Doge’s apartment (richly decorated in gilded stucco in Rococo style with original tapestries) and the Doge’s Chapel, finely frescoed by Giovyears Battista Carlone.
