Torrechiara Castle

Set on a high perch overlooking the Parma valley, this 15th century castle is considered one of the best preserved fortifications in Italy: thanks to its favourable position, it offers spectacular scenic views! Inside, its many rooms are covered in frescoes, mostly by Cremonese painter Baglioni.
