The Cathedral, founded by San Frediano in the 6th century and then rebuilt in 1060 by Bishop of Lucca Anselmo da Baggio, houses several works including Domenico Ghirlandaio’s “Madonna and Child with Saints Peter, Clement, Paul and Sebastian” (ca. 1479) and the “Last Supper” by Tintoretto (1592-94).
