Roman Theatre and Odeon

The Roman theatre was built in the 2nd century AD on the pre-existing structure of the ancient Greek acropolis: the preserved sections include the orchestra, the cavea (supported by high vaulted covered corridors) and some parts of the scaenae. The Odeon is just a few steps away and was used for concerts and dance performances.
