Duomo of San Gimignano

Built in the 10th century, it has a Romanesque-style façade overlooking the square, dating back to its last reconstruction in the 13th century. Inside there are three naves and it is decorated with a remarkable series of frescoes covering all the walls: one of the most interesting works, on the upper counter-façade, is the “Last Judgment” by Taddeo di Bartolo.
