Day 1 :

Noventa di Piave

Arrival in late afternoon at Noventa di Piave, in the heart of the Veneto plains, but only a few kilometres from the Adriatic Sea and Venice. Check-in at 4-star hotel. The hotel has en-suite rooms with telephone, LCD TV, air conditioning and valuables safe. Several restaurants – bar – swimming pool – sun terrace – spa centre – meeting rooms – parking. A shopping mall open till late evening is also part of the same complex, and next to the hotel is a large outlet store selling many famous Italian designer brands. Welcome cocktail. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 :

Caorle

By coach to Eraclea Mare, then by bike on cycleways and sideroads with little traffic to the centre of Caorle, old fishing town, completely rebuilt and now an important sailing centre. Free time for visit or a relaxing swim in the sea. Return to hotel by coach for dinner with traditional specialities and overnight stay.

Day 3 :

Venice

By coach to Chioggia and then by private boat to Pellestrina, a traditional fishermen’s island with few vehicles that can be easily toured by bike, and with villages looking like parts of Venice. Transfer from Pellestrina by private boat to Venice Lido, quiet and elegant, with canals lined by old villas, a famous beach and a unique atmosphere. Continuation by private boat to Punta Sabbioni, and then return to hotel by coach. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 :

Venice

Full day dedicated to a classic visit to Venice with transfers by private boat from Tronchetto or Punta Sabbioni. Guided visit in the morning to St Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Doge’s Palace (outside only), the Campanile, Bridge of Sighs, etc. Free time for lunch and possibility of visits in afternoon to attractions including the interior of the Doge’s Palace, the Accademia Gallery, the new Pinault Museum at Punta della Dogana, and many more. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 :

Province of Treviso

By coach to Roncade, with visit to castle. Departure by bike on a route winding through the countryside of the provinces of Treviso and Venice. The first stretch till Baggiolo is asphalted, followed by a central section on a plain track following the banks of the River Sile, with quiet and beautiful scenery. Final stretch along a main road. Return to hotel by coach for aperitif and dinner with traditional specialities and musical entertainment. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 6 :

Return
