Day 1 :

Journey to London

Meeting at airport with tour assistant fluent in the group language and transfer by coach to hotel with check-in for rooms assigned. Dinner and overnight stay. 

Day 2 :

London

Departure after breakfast for full-day guided visit to London, including Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral and the Tower of London. Return to accommodation after visit for dinner and overnight stay. 

Day 3 :

London/Paris

Breakfast in hotel and departure for France. Channel crossing by ferry, free time for lunch on board. Arrival in Paris in the afternoon for hotel check-in, dinner and overnight stay. 

Day 4 :

Paris

Breakfast in hotel and full day dedicated to a visit with guide to Paris, known as “La Ville Lumière”, a major world capital for fashion and culture. Sights include the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, the Latin Quarter, home to the Sorbonne University since mediaeval times, and the hill of Montmartre, a traditional meeting place for artists. Lunch in a restaurant. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel. 

Day 5 :

Paris/Lucerne

Breakfast in hotel and departure for Lucerne, Switzerland’s most picturesque city. Stop for lunch along the way. Arrival in the late afternoon for hotel check-in, dinner and overnight stay. 

Day 6 :

Lucerne/Florence

Breakfast in hotel followed by a short visit in the morning to the city centre, including the famous mediaeval Kapellbrücke bridge, built entirely in wood, and the old houses lining the squares of the old town. Departure for Italy and lunch in a restaurant along the way. Arrival in Florence in the late afternoon for hotel check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7 :

Florence/Rome

Guided visit in the morning to Florence, the cradle of Renaissance art and culture. The city centre is like an open-air museum, with the Cathedral in the Piazza del Duomo, the Piazza della Signoria with its famous statues, the Palazzo Vecchio and the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Lunch in a restaurant and departure for Rome, the “Eternal City”. Arrival of group at hotel in the afternoon for check-in, dinner and overnight stay. 

Day 8 :

Rome

Full-day guided visit, with the morning dedicated to Ancient Rome, including the Roman Forum, the Imperial Forums, the Arch of Constantine and the Coliseum. Visits in the afternoon to Rome’s famous squares and streets, with the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, Via Condotti and the Trevi Fountain, a masterpiece of Baroque sculpture. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay. 

Day 9 :

Rome

Morning dedicated to Christian Rome, with a guided visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, St Peter’s Basilica and St Peter’s Square. In the afternoon, a choice between visits to the basilicas of St Mary Major and St John Lateran, or as an alternative an excursion to Ostia to see the ancient excavations or to Tivoli, with its famous Villa d’Este. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10 :

Rome/Venice

Breakfast followed by departure for Lido di Jesolo. Lunch along the way. Check-in at hotel, dinner and accommodation in hotel.

Day 11 :

Venice

Departure for Venice. Trip by private boat from Punta Sabbioni to Venice. Guided visit to the Doge’s Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, St Mark’s Square and St Mark’s Basilica. Lunch in the centre of Venice. Afternoon free for exploring Venice. Return to hotel by private boat from Venice to Punta Sabbioni. Dinner and accommodation in hotel at Lido di Jesolo.

Day 12 :

Venice/Vienna

Breakfast in hotel and departure for Austria. Lunch in a restaurant along the way. Arrival in Vienna in the late afternoon for hotel check-in, dinner and overnight stay. 

Day 13 :

Vienna/Munich

Breakfast in hotel. Visit in the morning to the centre of Vienna, an old imperial city and the Austrian capital, and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with St Stephen’s Cathedral, the elegant area of the Graben and the Hofburg Palace. Lunch in a restaurant and departure for Germany. Arrival in Munich in the afternoon for hotel check-in, dinner and overnight stay. 

Day 14 :

Munich/Brussels

Breakfast in hotel and departure for Belgium. Lunch along the way. Arrival in the late afternoon for hotel check-in, dinner and overnight stay. 

Day 15 :

Brussels

Breakfast in hotel. Visit in the morning to Brussels, starting from the Atomium and the rest of the Heysel area, the Cinquantenaire Park with its Triumphal Arch, the Royal Palace, the Japanese Tower, the Chinese Pavilion, St Michael’s Cathedral, the Grand Sablon square, with its many antique shops, and European Union institutions district. Lunch in a restaurant and visit in the afternoon to explore the city centre, to see the Art Nouveau entrance to the Belgian Comics Art Museum, the Cathedral, the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert and the Rue des Bouchers, the Grand Place, the Manneken Pis, the Stock Exchange and the Saint-Géry quarter. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
