Day 1 :

Vienna

Arrival in Vienna and transfer to Salzburg, with free time for lunch along the route. Arrival in the afternoon in Salzburg, an enchanting city of art on the banks of the Salzach River and the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The city centre of Salzburg is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Check-in for rooms reserved in hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 :

 Salzburg/Prague

Breakfast in hotel. Morning dedicated to a guided visit of the city, with its centre a jewel of Baroque architecture, with opulent churches and palaces built by princes and bishops, the Cathedral, Getreidegasse, a street with finely crafted signs over the shops, and the exterior of Mozart’s home. Free time for lunch. Departure in the early afternoon for Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, on the banks of the Vltava River and boasting over a thousand years of history. The city centre is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arrival expected in the evening, for check-in at hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 :

Salzburg/Prague

Breakfast in hotel. Morning dedicated to visit to the city with guide, including Prague Castle, in the Hradcany district and a symbol of the city’s history, with inside it the Cathedral of St Vitus, the Royal Palace, St George’s Basilica and the Golden Lane. Free time for lunch. Visit in the afternoon to the Malá Strana quarter, the heart of Bohemian Baroque architecture, the St Nicholas Church and the Infant Jesus of Prague Church. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 :

Prague

Breakfast in hotel. Guided visit to Josefov, the ancient Jewish quarter, once the home of one of the oldest and most important Jewish communities of the west. Sights include the Town Hall, several synagogues and the old cemetery, then continuing to visit the Staré Mesto (the Old Town), with its famous Astronomical Clock, the St Nicholas Church, the Kinsky Palace and the Týn Church. Free time for lunch and shopping. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 :

Prague/Bratislava/Budapest

Departure after breakfast for Bratislava, a historical city on the banks of the River Danube, once the capital of the Kingdom of Hungary and now the capital of Slovakia. Free time for lunch and short visit to the city centre, with a wealth of Baroque buildings, and then continuing to Budapest, the “Queen of the Danube”. Check-in at hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 :

Budapest

Breakfast in hotel. Full day dedicated to a guided visit to the city, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with the magnificent Buda Castle with inside it the Matthias Church, the Fisherman’s Bastion, the Erzsébet Bridge, the area of Pest on the left bank of the river, Váci Street, Heroes’ Square, Andrássy Avenue and the Opera House, St Stephen’s Basilica and the Parliament. Free time for lunch during the tour. Return to hotel in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7 :

Budapest/Vienna

Breakfast and departure for Vienna, an old imperial city and the capital of Austria. Free time for lunch and guided visit to the city centre, with St Stephen’s Cathedral, the elegant area of the Graben and the Hofburg Palace. Check-in, dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 8 :

Vienna

Breakfast in hotel. Visit in the morning with guide to the Schönbrunn Palace, a masterpiece of Baroque architecture and once the summer residence of the Princess Elisabeth, better known as “Sissi”, surrounded by a splendid park. Free time for lunch and afternoon free for shopping. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9 :

Vienna

Breakfast and transfer to Vienna airport.
