Full day dedicated to a guided visit to the Cinque Terre coast, famous throughout the world for its beauty and breathtaking views. Departure by boat from La Spezia, stopping at Portovenere, a picturesque seaside village dating back to Roman times, situated on a rocky promontory facing the sea and the islands of Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto. Visits to the San Pietro Church and the Castle. Trip continues by boat to Vernazza, with visits to the Santa Margherita di Antiochia Church and the tower of the Doria Castle. Arrival in the late morning at Monterosso for fish lunch in a local restaurant, followed by a stroll through the old town centre. Return by train to Manarola, stopping briefly and continuing to Riomaggiore (the famous “Via dell‘Amore”, a footpath with railings directly overlooking the sea is actually partially closed), and then continuing by train to La Spezia, to meet up with the coach again. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
