Day 1 :

Lisbon

Arrival at Lisbon airport and transfer by private coach to hotel, with panoramic tour of the city, with views of the Belém Tower, the symbol of the city, the Jerónimos Monastery and the Monument to the Discoveries, the Padrão. Arrival at hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 :

Lisbon / Fatima 130 km

Breakfast in hotel and departure for Fátima, where starting in 1917 the Madonna appeared several times to the three shepherd children Francisco, Lúcia and Jacinta, making revelations to them about the future of the world. Arrival at hotel and check-in. Afternoon dedicated to a visit to the Sanctuary and participation in church services. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 :

Fátima / Santiago 430 Km 

Breakfast in hotel and departure for Santiago de Compostela, the capital of Galicia and one of Europe’s oldest pilgrimage destinations, the Way of St James. Arrival expected in the early afternoon for check-in at hotel and free time. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 :

Santiago 

Breakfast in hotel and full day dedicated to a visit to the Cathedral and participation in religious activities. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 5 :

Santiago / Lourdes 900 Km

Breakfast in hotel and departure for Lourdes, where in 1858 the Madonna appeared to the young Bernadette Soubirous, since when many miraculous cures have taken place here. Arrival expected in the late afternoon for check-in at hotel, dinner and overnight stay

Day 6 :

Lourdes

Breakfast in hotel and full day dedicated to a visit to the Sanctuary, one of the world’s largest churches, the Grotto and the house where Bernadette was born. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 7 :

Lourdes / Lisieux 870 Km 

Breakfast in hotel and departure for Lisieux, where St Thérèse of the Child Jesus spent her short but intense religious life. Check-in at hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 :

Lisieux / Paris 200 Km 

Breakfast in hotel. Morning dedicated to a visit to places associated with St Thérèse, including the Basilica dedicated to her, the Carmelite Church and her birthplace. Departure after lunch for Paris, with arrival expected in the late afternoon for check-in at hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9 :

Paris

Breakfast in hotel. Full day dedicated to Paris, with visits possible to Notre Dame Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, with its characteristic white domes dominating the city, and the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, where in 1830 the Madonna appeared to the novice St Catherine Labouré, to give her the Miraculous Medal, to which numerous episodes of healing have been attributed. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10 :

Paris / Vézelay (220 Km) / Lucerne (480 Km)

Breakfast in hotel and departure for Vézelay for a brief visit to the splendid Benedictine Abbey, claimed in the Middle Ages to contain the relics of Mary Magdalene. Arrival at Lucerne expected in late afternoon for check-in at hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11 :

Lucerne / Einsiedeln (62 Km) / Milan (250 Km)

Breakfast in hotel, followed by a short panoramic visit to the city, on the shores of Lake Lucerne, and departure for Einsiedeln, Switzerland’s most important sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Arrival in the late morning and visit to the Basilica with its famous statue of the Black Madonna. Departure later for Milan, for check-in at hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12 :

Milan / Assisi (463 Km)

Breakfast in hotel and departure for Assisi, the city of the patron saint of Italy and centre of the Franciscan movement. Check-in at hotel and visit to the Basilica of St Francis, a striking example of Gothic architecture and famous for its frescoes showing the life of the saint painted by Giotto. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 13 :

Assisi / San Giovanni Rotondo (423 Km)

Breakfast in hotel, participation at a service in the Basilica and departure for San Giovanni Rotondo, associated with another important Italian saint, St Pio of Pietralcina, venerated for his stigmata and for the numerous miracles attributed to him both during his life and after his death. Day 14 :

San Giovanni Rotondo / Rome (381 Km)

Breakfast in hotel and morning dedicated to a visit to places associated with the saint, including the new basilica dedicated to him and the Home for the Relief of Suffering, the hospital that he founded to assist the many sick who sought his help every day. Departure after the visit for Rome, the centre of all Christendom. Arrival expected in the late afternoon for check-in at hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 15 :

Rome 

Breakfast in hotel and full day dedicated to a visit to the city, including the Vatican with St Peter’s Basilica, the tombs of popes and the Vatican Museums, the Basilica of St John Lateran, the first of the four papal basilicas and the oldest in the western world, the Basilica of St Mary Major and that of St Paul Outside the Walls, the largest after St Peter’s. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 16 :

Departure
