Day 1 :

Porto Torres/Sassari/Alghero

Arrival at Porto Torres in early morning, leaving ferry to meet the local guide who will provide assistance for the entire holiday in Sardinia. Departure for Sassari, with its mediaeval town centre built around the cathedral, then continuing for Alghero. Check-in at hotel and lunch. Afternoon visit to town centre, of Catalan origins, with visits possible to the cathedral in Gothic-Aragonese style, the San Francesco Church, the town walls and the bastions. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 2 :

Bosa/Oristano

Departure from Alghero after breakfast, southwards along the coast road, offering scenery of rare beauty, and continuing to Bosa, famous for its mediaeval castle and fine lacework, and then to Oristano. Lunch in hotel. Afternoon visit to Oristano and the entire Sinis Peninsula, inhabited since ancient times, with the ruins of old forts and many other traces of the presence of the Phoenicians, Carthaginians and Romans. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 3 :

Barumini/Cagliari/Quartu Sant’Elena

Departure for Barumini and visit to Su Nuraxi, Sardinia’s largest and most famous village of “nuraghe” structures. Continuation to Cagliari, the island’s capital, for lunch and afternoon visit to the city: the Umberto I Terrace with is splendid views over the bay, the harbour, the city centre, the cathedral, the Roman amphitheatre and the San Pancrazio Tower. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel at Quartu Sant’Elena.

Day 4 :

Nora/Cagliari/Quartu Sant’Elena

Morning visit to Cape Pula, with the ruins of the ancient city of Nora, with its amphitheatre and temple. Lunch in a restaurant in Cagliari city centre, and free afternoon or visit to the Archaeological Museum, Sardinia’s most important. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel at Quartu Sant’Elena.

Day 5 :

Orgosolo/Nuoro/Arzachena

Departure northwards with arrival at Orgosolo by lunchtime. Traditional open-air lunch with local shepherds. Continuation to Nuoro, in the heart of Sardinia, with visits to the Costumes Museum and the Solitudine Church, and then on to the northern coast. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel between Arzachena and Santa Teresa di Gallura.

Day 6 :

La Maddalena/Caprera/Arzachena

Departure after breakfast for Palau, boarding ferry for the island of La Maddalena and continuing to Caprera, with visit to the Garibaldi Museum and his house. Lunch with fish specialities in restaurant on La Maddalena, with visit to the island in the afternoon. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7 :

Costa Smeralda/Olbia

Last day, dedicated to the Costa Smeralda. Departure after breakfast for Porto Cervo, the most exclusive resort, stopping at one of the fabulous beaches of this stretch of coastline made famous by the Aga Khan, and finally we suggest an aperitif in the famous square at Baja Sardinia. Return to hotel for lunch. Afternoon visit to Porto Rotondo, a refined and elegant town with lots of shops. Continuation to Olbia to board the ferry in the evening. End of our services.
