Departure in the afternoon for Cefalù, situated at the foot of a rocky promontory and one of the most important beach resorts of the entire province. Guided visit to the picturesque town, famous for its splendid Norman cathedral and the magnificent Byzantine mosaics in the apse, and a walk through the streets and alleys of the town centre. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
Alternative: Departure for Segesta for a guided visit to its archaeology park, with a famous temple in Doric style and a theatre built partly into the rock. Lunch in a restaurant. Tour continues to Erice, with a visit to this small medieval town at an altitude of 750 metres. Walk though the town centre with a guided visit to the Assunta Cathedral and the Balio Gardens, from where one of Sicily’s loveliest panoramas can be admired. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
