“Tharros” Archaeological Site

An ancient Punic site, it was conquered by Rome in 238 BC. A true open-air museum, the ruins open to visitors date back mainly to the Roman period and early Christianity: in particular, visitors can admire the thermal baths, the “Tophet”, the foundations of the temple, houses and artisan workshops.
