The Royal Palace – the magnificent royal residence of the Bourbons and last great Italian Baroque palace – was officially opened in 1774, but was completed only in 1845. This immense complex has more than 1,200 rooms and halls, including the imposing Throne Room. Outside, the Park extends for 3 km.
