This Baroque and Neoclassical Royal Palace, completed in 1858, was the historical residence of the Spanish viceroy and, later, of the Bourbons. Among its sumptuous rooms, the most notable is the “Queen’s Apartment” with its ceiling decorated in classic Rococo style by Giovyears Battista Natali.
