The Archaeological Museum, which was recently reorganised, houses the city’s historical and cultural collections from ancient times in its four locations: Palazzo Massimo alle Terme, Palazzo Altemps, the Balbi Crypt and the Baths of Diocletian, where among other finds you can admire portraits of the emperors Vespasian, Hadrian and Gallienus.
