Scuola Grande di San Rocco

This Renaissance-style building exhibits famous works by Tintoretto and his pupils: its three rooms (Sala Terrena, Superiore and dell’Albergo) contain masterpieces made with a traditional Venetian painting technique called “telero”, i.e. very large oil on canvas paintings on walls.
