Also known as the Arena or Annunciata Chapel, it is considered a masterpiece of Western art. Completed in the early 1300’s, it contains a world-famous cycle of frescoes by Giotto dating back to the beginning of the 14th century. It is a candidate for UNESCO World Heritage Site status.
