Located in an area of more than 2 hectares, it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. It is the world’s oldest academic botanical garden that is still in its original location. It features a huge range of plants: insectivorous, medicinal, rare and, thanks to trades, exotic species.
