Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta

Consecrated in 639, this Venetian-Byzantine style church takes the form of a basilica with a typical Early Christian plan: the façade is preceded by a narthex and stands out for its marble portal with jambs of the year 1000. On its side is the “Martyrion” dedicated to Santa Fosca.
