One of Venice’s best examples of Baroque architecture, it was completed in 1687 and designed by Baldassare Longhena, inspired by Palladian models. The oil on canvas “Descent of the Holy Ghost” (1555) by Titian and various sculptures by Tommaso Rues are on display in the side chapels.
